Driver Profiles: Nate Hamilton

We want to make sure you get to know a little about all of our drivers so we have decided to continue our Driver Profile Series and focus on one of our drivers each week. This week we are meeting Nate Hamilton, a drift driver who drives a Nissan 240sx track and a 370z for his daily driving from Texas. His favorite color is blurple which is the color of his car. He has his friend to thank who pushed him to join a competition which as you can probably guess, changed his life.

He wants to race as many tracks as possible and come in first on all of them as he rated Ricky Bobby’s iconic quote “If you’re not first, you’re last” a 10 out of 10. Nate hasn’t watched a movie in about 2 years but he definitely didn’t spend that time playing basketball as he still can’t dunk. He probably was ‘beach bummin’ it up instead as he said if he could be any animal, he would be about anything in the ocean like a dolphin or shark. Speaking of the ocean, if he was on a deserted island with a track, he would bring Accelera’s tire distribution center and of course, a bathing suit. And we think if he could, he would wear a bathing suit to the track too. But instead, when he gets ready for a race, he hydrates and does a little exercise to get his heart rate up and listens to some classic rock all while making sure he reminds himself to have some fun.

His favorite mod is his Grip Royal steering wheel and shift knob as it is one of the most personalized items in his entire car. If he wasn’t drifting, he would be racing LOOR off-road because well, to him, dirt bike + drifting = heaven. He hopes to return to Pro Drifting and the Pro 2 Championship soon and we wish him the best of luck. Check out Nate’s setup here. And don’t forget to check back next week for our next driver profile when we introduce Brent Johnston.
