Who is Adam LZ

THE RIDER WHO BUILT HIS OWN WORLD

Adam LZ came into drifting the same way a lot of riders do: BMX first, cars later. As the saying goes, “with age, get a cage.” After seeing Chelsea DeNofa throw a backwards entry at Parc, Adam got pulled deeper into the sport, and by December 2015, he was officially drifting.

Nearly a decade later, Adam’s world now spans personal builds, competition, content, and the LZ World Tour. His driving is built around big entries, second and third-gear tracks, concrete grip, and keeping the car fun without breaking parts. Now in his third year working with Tire Streets, Adam brings that same energy into LZ World Tour, where Tire Streets serves as the official tire sponsor and the Accelera 651 Sport runs as the spec tire for the field.

Adam's Tip: “This setup favors a healthy amount of weight jacking - typically achieved by a large front sway bar, higher front spring rates, and a soft rear with no swaybar.”

"I wish I knew earlier how much more cost-effective new tires were compared to used tires. I used to buy used tires or cheap wheels with tires on them to save money, but they were usually dry-rotted, inconsistent, and would explode or make a mess of the car.

Once I moved to new tires, I could actually focus on improving my driving because the car felt consistent every lap."
