"651 Sports drive like track tires and wear like normal all-season tires. Incredible temperature control on track and communicate very well through the steering wheel. Road noise is low and they drive great in the rain — no problems at all unlike other 200tw."- Jourdan Howard
PRICELESS TRACK TIPS
✔ Set your pressures - start with 32 psi hot and adjust based on feel.
✔ Check your tires every few laps to see how they’re reacting to pressure and alignment.
✔ Warm up your tires - your first few laps should be easy warm-up laps to get heat into the rubber, maximizing performance for when you push.
✔ Don’t overdo it - after several hot laps, your tires might feel greasy; this means they’re overheating.
✔ Rotate your tires every few sessions for even wear.
"I've been on the Accelera 651 Sports for about 5,000 miles, including 5 AutoX events. They're wearing super well and still have plenty of life. On the weekends I race with my local SCCA chapter and these tires helped me get competitive in my class. In comparison to my previous tires I've noticed how much more predictable these 651s are at the limit. They have given me way more confidence on the track, and with spirited street driving in the curves."- Aiden Dumlao
"I personally don’t see a reason for 200tw rubber to be at the same pricing as proper motorsport spec racing tires. It’s a barrier to entry for many and not something I feel is needed.
I feel the 651s hit it perfectly for people like me that are chasing lap times one weekend, playing cat-mouse the next, driving up the mountains two weeks later, and still having performance when driving to get ice cream on Sunday."
